Majestic Faith Joins Winning Sis

May 14, 2016

Race-favourite Majestic Faith lived up to market expectations when she galloped away with the 1100m Maiden Plate on May 12 at Gosford.

A full sister to Faith’s Encore who scored impressively on debut at Warwick Farm on May 4, Majestic Faith settled towards in to the home bend.

The promising daughter of Denman out of Faith Hill then made a withering run along the outside of the track to collar Nevetna on the line, providing owners Don and Judy Kelly with their second win in just over a week.

“She’s a really impressive filly who’s taken a little bit of time to come to hand, but today she showed us how talented she is and we look forward working her through the grades this preparation,” said co-trainer Peter Snowden.

“As Paul mentioned when Faith’s Encore won the other day, we are delighted for Don and Judy Kelly.

“They are patient with their horses and a dream to train for, so it’s a real thrill when we can finish in the winners’ circle for them.”
