Infinite Love Beams

May 31, 2016

Infinite Love brought home Team Snowden’s sixth winner for the day when she saluted in the $22,000 Class 1 Handicap (1200m) at Kembla Grange on May 28.

The Greg and Donna Kolivos-owned filly settled last with Fabulosity before young Nick Heywood navigated her towards the outside part of the track where she built up a beautifully-timed run to get the better of race leader Clear Ripples by 0.5 of a length.

“She’s a lovely filly that got conditions and class to suit today. It was a well-timed run by Nick too who’s improving with every ride,” said co-trainer Peter Snowden.

“It’s great to be able to come away for a win for Greg and Donna Kolivos who such terrific supporters to not only us but the wider industry.”

The victory clocked up two wins from five starts and $36,250 in prizemoney for the three-year-old daughter of Fastnet Rock and Snowden Racing’s 115th win for the season.

In addition, Infinite Love joined My Country (Kembla Grange), Tap This (Gold Coast), That’s A Good Idea (Randwick), Hanover Square (Kembla Grange) and Attention (Doomben) in a hugely successful day for the team, while rewarding apprentice rider Nick Heywood with a treble.

The Kolivos’ just missed out on a winning double with recent Scone Cup winner Pajaro running a narrow second in the Group 3 Lord Mayors Cup in Doomben.
