Gibraltar Girl made it back-to-back wins when she galloped away in the $40,000 Ranvet's Neutrolene BenchMark 69 Handicap (1100m) at Canterbury on November 11.
With success at the same course and distance under Rory Hitchings just weeks earlier, the pair sat off the speed in the opener until a break came to take the short cut home along the inside rail which proved a winning move by Hutchings for a head victory over French Blue.
“She had to carry a bit more weight this time and all credit to Rory, he saw a gap along the inside and took it. It was the difference between winning and losing, so it was good to see them both get the job done again," said co-trainer Paul Snowden.
“The filly's in great form so we’ll continue to work her through the grades and hopefully get another win on the board this campaign for Greg and Donna."
The Kolivos-owned three-year-old daughter of Manhattan Rain out of Gibraltar Campion has now won two races from four starts for $66,000 in prizemoney.
