Plot Twist Stays The Test

Jun 13, 2017

Promising Irish stayer Plot Twist scored his third victory in Australia when he displayed a strong staying performance in the $101,000 Stayers Cup (3200m) at Randwick on June 10.

Purchased in Ireland as a winner through Goffs Bloodstock Auction House by James Harron Bloodstock and Hubie de Burgh for Greg and Donna Kolivos, Plot Twist settled perfectly one off the fence midfield for James Innes Junior before running down the well-fancied Richard of Yorke.

The five-year-old gelding by Champs Elysees out of Bryanstown Girl has now won four from 15 starts for almost $122,000 in prizemoneyu.

“We now know he can stretch out to the two miles! This guy will stay all day, he’s won twice over the 2400 and didn’t mind racing with the sting out of the track either which is great because he’s proven to be adaptable having won on good ground before,” said co-trainer Peter Snowden.

“He was rated very well by James and we’re pleased to get another win for the Kolivos family.”
