Ajani Wins Easily At Gosford

Jul 21, 2017

Ajani scored easily in the $30,000 Brisbane Water Glass Class 2 Handicap (1200m) at Gosford on July 20 to bring up Snowden Racing’s 143rd win for the season, the highest achieved since opening the business in 2014.

Ridden perfectly by in-form hoop Koby Jennings, the three-year-old Choisir gelding jumped positively and led all the way for a dominant 2.11 length victory over Princess Freya.

“That was a terrific win and we're very pleased for his owner who's a delight to train for. He had them well covered today so we’ll continue to place him in winnable races, ” said co-trainer Paul Snowden.

With just 11 race starts under his belt, the lightly-raced son of Choisir out of Africaine has won over $200,000 in career prizemoney for sole owner Younan Akram.
