Impressive Redoute’s Choice filly Jen Rules motored home to get the bob on the line in the $40,000 TAB.com.au 2YO Fillies Plate (1100m) at Canterbury on June 21.

The $2.30 race-favourite jumped well and settled in the forward half of the field for Kerrin McEvoy, before working home to reel in the leaders in determined fashion.

Co-trainer Peter Snowden was thrilled with the effort, stating the filly has got “true ability”.

“She’s a filly that’s always showed quite a bit and did a good job to win from where she was.

“She showed today she’s got true ability.”

Raced by prolific racehorse owners and breeders, Mat Whitby and Neil Werrett, Snowden was also pleased to get a debut win on the board for the filly’s connections.

“They’re passionate, two great guys, patient, and love their racing.”
