Jockey Thomas Huet and four year-old mare Artistry continued their one hundred per cent winning partnership when the pair scored a dominant two length victory in the 1st Excelebration Yearling Benchmark 78 (1600m) at Warwick Farm on 14 October 2015.
Owned by Western Australia-based Neven Botica, Artistry made it back to back wins giving Huet his fourth win aboard the smart daughter by Shamardal out of Lady Peony.
Jumping from barrier 10 out a field of 12, Artistry was forced to race wide early to gain a prominent position up front which saw her sit one off the leader Lord De Air, for the latter half of the race.
Once the mare was balanced in the home straight, Huet asked for another effort in which she promptly responded to trounce rivals leaving Lady Macan and Lord De Air to fill the minor placings.
At this stage, Artistry will continue race through her classes with a view to gaining black type in the autumn being the ultimate objective.
