Nayeli nails it for Team Snowden

Oct 20, 2015

Talented More Than Ready mare Nayeli scored a nail biting victory over Peace Force and Miss Cover Girl in the Group 3 City Tattersalls Club Nivision (1200m) at Randwick on Saturday 17 October in her first start for Snowden Racing.

Piloted by Josh Parr, Nayeli sat just behind the leaders to build enough momentum to pounce on her rivals in the final stages – taking her career winning record to four wins – three at stakes level, from just 10 starts.

“The goal was to have her ready for a first up win today, so I was pleased she was able to do that.

“She had a bit of work to do at the last 100m mark, but found the line strongly,” explained Peter Snowden.

“We’ve had a handful of runners and second placings for Greg and Donna Kolivos so it was great to finally score a win for them.”

Nayeli’s win capped off a wonderful day for the stable providing a stakes winning double at Randwick along with a maiden win for Exceed and Excel gelding Output at Wyong.
